Solar PV provides your home with FREE Electricity
Solar PV powers your home using solar energy. Solar PV converts sunlight into electricity which powers your property. The sun is a clean energy which can be transformed into renewable electricity.
How do Solar Panels work?
Solar PV systems are made from solar cells which are layers of semiconducting materials. When the cells are hit by sunlight, electrons are knocked which causes the production of electricity.
Solar panels do not require direct sunlight and still work in all weathers. The more sunlight which is produced, the more electricity is generated. The energy from the panel goes through an inverter and transforms into electricity.
Solar PV are grouped into modules which can then be grouped into solar arrays. They can be fitted to your roof, or can be installed in the ground or solar tiles. We have a wide range of sizes and shapes to suit whatever space you have.
There are many variables which determine how much electricity is produced including sunlight, orientation and shading. Usually, it generates between 700 and 900 KWh per KWp per year.
