Power your home from the Sun
Solar PV use solar energy from the sun to provide free electricity. Solar PV transform light into electricity which is converted to power your property. The sun always provides a form of clean energy which can be turned into renewable electricity.
Solar PV Systems - How do they work?
Solar PV systems are made from layers of semiconducting materials which are called solar cells. When sunlight hits the cells, electrons are knocked which in turn produces electricity.
They work on cloudy days and do not require direct sunlight to work. However, the more sunlight that is produced, the more electricity is generated. Energy leaves the panel, goes through an inverter and turns into electricity.
Solar PV cells can be grouped into modules which then can be grouped into solar arrays. They can go on top of your roof, or they can be installed in the ground or solar tiles. We offer a wide range of shapes and sizes to suit your property.
How much electricity is produced?
There are many variables which determine how much electricity is produced including shading, sunlight, orientation etc. You can expect it to generate between 700 and 900 KWh per KWp per year.
